I have no idea if this color combination will work, but i got creative and added some flair to my first attempt at a shrimp shaped fly.
A lot of people like to stick to natural colors and closely imitate the colors of the actual bait your fly imitates, however some of the most productive conventional lures I own are hot pink, multi-fluorescent colored or even the Texas favorite electric chicken pattern. Don’t be afraid to get creative and add some pop to your saltwater flies. What’s the worst that could happen by trying something new?
